The Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) are a collection of 17 interlinked objectives adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 designed to serve as a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet now and into the future.

At Hands, we use these goals to measure our impact not only towards our mission of providing children with opportunities for a better life, but in how we operate as a charity within the community and on this planet.

Our homes provide a safe and clean-living environment, with access to education and working opportunities.

Our homes provide access to food and nourishment daily.

We have run vaccine roll-outs for our homes, and our children have access to any medical assistance they may need.

All children in our homes have access to education from pre-school all the way to university.

We provide equal access to education and job opportunities to both girls and boys in our homes.

All of our homes have access to clean water and sanitation.

We offer education opportunities to all, as well as an opportunity to complete university leading to potential job opportunities. We are also looking to open training centres and mentoring programs for all of our kids.

The Hands mission is to connect underprivileged and disadvantaged children with homes, food, education and future pathways so they can live a life of choice, not chance.

Hands provides access to basic services, energy, housing, and transportation. We have also tried to make the homes self-sustainable by having food and animal farms to assist with providing food for consumption and sale.

All of our homes recycle and when they aren’t getting their supplies from their sustainable farming, they shop locally to support neighbourhood businesses.

Our homes have fish farms on our properties to provide both a source of food, and income.

Our homes also participate in community clean up days at the beach.

Our homes have animal farms and gardens on our properties to provide both a source of food, and income.

We don’t use pesticides.

We participate in clean up days, recycle, and compost.

We stand up for the rights of all humans and aim to enrich the lives of disadvantaged children and communities in Thailand.

We do what we can to break the stereotypes surrounding HIV/AIDS.

We ensure responsive, inclusive and representative decision making for our children.

100% of funds raised from Hands go straight to our homes* (see our casualty of covid notice).

We support our homes with the provision of technology, and knowledge on how to use it.

We assist our homes in working towards meeting each of the SDGs.
